Civic issues
Topics getting the most attention in Clearfield City public meetings, ranked by how frequently they come up.
Water Resource Management
Clearfield is dealing with a sudden equipment breakdown, so they're asking everyone to cut back on water usage immediately. Keep an eye on your faucets and hold off on non-essential water tasks until the city gets things fixed.
Sewer Infrastructure Maintenance
Six Clearfield families are dealing with the nightmare of raw sewage flooding their basements due to a city pipe blockage. It’s a gross wake-up call that our city's aging underground pipes need serious attention before the next disaster hits.
Water Quality
Clearfield residents might notice some yellow-tinted tap water lately, but city officials say it's just harmless mineral sediment. It looks gross, but your water is still perfectly safe to drink.
Water Conservation
Clearfield is asking residents to dial back on lawn watering to keep our water supply steady during the summer heat. It’s a simple way to help the city manage resources and avoid potential shortages.
